Alexys International was born out of a need to provide more effective solutions and better service to the health and aged care sectors.

At Alexys International we fully understand the need for discreet systems that create a homelike environment yet provide additional levels of security, safety, and accountability. Alexys’ industry leading nurse call solutions are developed here in Australia and designed to meet the needs of the increasingly sophisticated and demanding aged and acute care environment. Since its inception, the Alexys International team have designed and delivered three new nurse call platforms, an overarching critical communication and reporting system plus a fully integrated messaging application.

Alexys has become the preferred solution vendor to many of the largest and smallest Aged Care providers across Australia and increasingly in the Asia Pacific region. Both profit and not for profit facilities have benefitted from the extensive knowledge and expertise of the Alexys’ team. 

The senior staff at Alexys International have individually accumulated in excess of twenty years’ experience designing, manufacturing, installing and supporting nurse call and associated systems for the healthcare industry.

The Alexys Leadership Group

The three directors of Alexys have worked together for the past 20+ years. Each one has extensive experience within the Australasian health care industry, more specifically designing nurse call equipment, installing, and integrating systems through their earlier association with Questek and now operating Alexys.


Bart Williams

Marketing Director

Bart began his career with Questek Australia more than 25 years ago. He project managed Questek installations before working as the national Business Development Manager. From 2004-2013 Bart was the General Manager of Questek. In this role he grew the business to become the number one Aged Care Nurse Call business in Australia.

Bart brings a wealth of knowledge to his current role as Marketing Director at Alexys Australia. He continues to work with the Aged Care community, providing industry leading nurse call and communications systems.

Dennis Rama

Managing Director

Dennis, as an industrial design expert, was instrumental in the development and production of all Questek nurse call hardware from 2001-2015. So it is the look, feel and quality of the Questek system that Dennis created.

During this time, Dennis innovated and led the industry in Aged Care specific nurse call design.  It is this industry expertise that Dennis brings to the Alexys designs.

Mark Bayles

Technical Director

Mark chose to join Alexys as a partner and has brought with him extensive integration, installation knowledge and software engineering skills. Mark manages the Alexys engineering function, this team have developed and implemented an impressive suite of software solutions, leading to faster installations and reduced support requirements.

Alexys has recruited an experienced and highly talented group of Research & Development engineers, service technicians, business development and project managers to ensure the enterprise continues to deliver on its customer commitment and remains at the forefront of the modern aged and health care environment.
