Alexys is delighted to announce the continuation of its apprenticeship program.

Apprenticeships, particularly in highly skilled areas like electronics and communications, are of crucial and continuing importance to the Australian economy. The skills developed and nurtured within an apprenticeship become the core elements and essential technical and business competencies that underscore a significant part of our economic wellbeing.

To this end Alexys recently engaged a new apprentice technician, Blake Moses, this coincides with our 4th-year apprentice, Jonathan Fullwood approaching the end of his training period.

Alexys, Marketing Director. Bart Williams;

“Apprenticeships are a win-win situation for employers, employees, and industry in general, as they create a pipeline of skilled talent. Alexys Australia, has long advocated and supported apprenticeship programs, we believe the technical and interpersonal skills required for our industry are best achieved through a combination of on-the-job experience and formal TAFE training. This is the true essence and value of the 21st-century apprenticeship scheme.”

Alexys apprentices are enrolled in the TAFE NSW Cert III Electronics and Communication nationally recognised qualification. On successfully completing this course, graduates have the opportunity to continue their studies and achieve higher qualifications to enhance their career opportunities.
