Who is Alexys International?
Alexys is a dynamic team who have worked together in different capacities over the past decade or more. The three directors and owners of Alexys have worked together for the past 15 years. The directors have individually had in excess of 15 years’ experience working in healthcare, more accurately; designing equipment, installing systems and operating Questek Australia Pty Ltd.
Bart Williams MBA (Marketing Director)
Bart worked for Questek full time from August 1997 and part time since 1993 (University holidays). Bart’s family owned Questek from 1980-2012 and during this time Bart project managed Questek installations, worked as the national BDM and more recently operated Questek as the General Manager from 2004-2013. Bart stepped down from the GM role after the business was sold to Brighton Technologies.
Dennis Rama (Managing Director)
Dennis, as an industrial design expert, was instrumental in the development and production of all Questek nurse call hardware from 2001 – 2015. It is the look, feel and quality of the Questek system that Dennis created. During this time, Dennis innovated and led the industry in Aged Care specific nurse call design. It is this industry expertise that Dennis brings to the new designs for Alexys International.
Mark Bayles (Technical Director)
Mark’s company, BSH Electrical has been the sole distributor for Questek nurse call systems in Tasmania from 1998-2015. During this time Mark’s team have ensured that Questek was the number one installed system on the Island. Mark chose to join Alexys International as a partner and has brought with him installation knowledge and software engineering skills. With those attributes Mark has developed a new generation of software with the development team, leading to faster installations and reduced support requirements.
Alexys Engineering
Alexys design engineers have been instrumental in the development of the Questek nurse call system for the past 15 years, from hardware to software our team is the most experienced in the market for nurse call systems.
Alexys Support
Our in house technical support staff have serviced Questek systems for 8 years or more and are familiar with most installations throughout Australia. Our team is able to support industry standard ancillary systems such as Concept Access Control, KIRK DECT, Spectralink Wi-Fi,
Ekahau RTLS, Meru (Fortinet) Wi-Fi, CCTV and much more.
New Capabilities
Knowing what is possible with new technology, the team have designed a more robust and reliable system than ever before. We have ensured backwards compatibility to assist client’s transition to new features, respecting their investment in their current systems.
