The Alexys International team has just returned to Sydney after participating in the highly successful Indonesian Health Care Expo.

Held from November 3rd to 5th at Jakarta’s BSD International Exhibition Centre. Alexys teamed with its long-term Indonesian distribution partner PT AustralIndo Graha Nusa (AGN) to showcase its award-winning range of IP-driven nurse call solutions, cloud-based reporting systems, and enhanced cyber-security initiatives.

Returning after a Covid-imposed hiatus the 2022 event delivered three full days of seminars, exhibitions, and business-matching opportunities. Visitors and conference delegates included many Government officials and key decision-makers from the Indonesian and regional healthcare industry.

Bart Williams, Alexys’ Marketing Director “I would summarise the Expo as an extremely professional, well-managed event that attracted many highly qualified visitors from across Indonesia and ASEAN region.  Couple with Indonesia’s recent economic growth and the increasing development within the healthcare sector, Alexys International anticipates significant incremental business from the region in the short to medium term”

Indonesia, the largest economy in South-East Asia has achieved steady GDP growth over the past 10 years, driven by rising incomes, and a developing middle class, leading to substantial growth in both public and private expenditure on healthcare projects. With a population in excess of 270 million, 3000 hospitals, 10,000  medical centres, and an estimated 2023 budget of $US 60 billion, Indonesia is recognised as a strategically important and highly attractive market as Alexys expands its regional distribution activities.
